Dr. Mishra is a cognitive neuroscientist and founder of the Neural Engineering & Translation Labs (NEATLabs) at UCSD. Her lab innovates human-centered neurotechnology solutions. Dr. Mishra conducts research across the lifespan in both local and global communities and emphasizes solutions that can help address important issues including sustained psychological health and wellbeing, as well as resilience in the context of climate change.

Dr. Mishra’s climate and mental health research has been featured in the TIME magazine, Washington Post, NPR, The Hill, World Economic Forum, Neuroscience News, among others. Her recent children’s book, The Little Brain, discusses resilient learning for children. She also co-leads the University of California-wide Climate Change and Mental Health Initiative.
