Christy Wilson-Mendenhall

Christy works with the Loka Initiative as a collaborating psychological scientist and research lead. Building on her Ph.D. and postdoctoral research in affective science, Christy joined the Center for Healthy Minds, University of Wisconsin-Madison to advance interdisciplinary research focused on cultivating well-being and resilience. She feels incredibly fortunate to work with the deeply caring and thoughtful Loka team on developing research projects that address resilience in the Anthropocene. Christy lives in Madison with her husband (Aaron) and two kids (Avery & Levi). When not working on research, she likes to swim, read, and snuggle with her little ones.
